Cleaning Guide

Jewellery Storage and Care.

To ensure you enjoy your precious and beautiful jewellery for as long as
possible, you should follow a few basic rules:

– Store your items of jewellery separately, ideally in fabric pouches or a
jewellery case.

– Items of silver jewellery should not be exposed to sunlight for extended
periods of time to avoid discolouration of the silver and bleaching of the
enamel, leather cords and bracelets and silk cords.

– Items of jewellery should preferably not be worn while working in the house
or garden or during sport, bathing or showering or while sleeping.

– Perfume and hairspray can harm and negatively influence the brilliance of
jewellery and particularly stones and pearls.

Furthermore, certain substances (i.e. alcohol or other solvents) can impact and
damage the surface of pearls and stones. For this reason, it is advisable to use
perfume, hairspray and other cosmetics before putting on the jewellery.

Cleaning.
Clean your jewellery once a month to prevent deposits of grease, soap and
cosmetics. Use a special detergent or a mild neutral cleaner added to a bowl
of warm water. For the best cleaning results, gently use a small brush or a
paintbrush. You can also use an ultrasound bath if you have one (please note
the instructions for your ultrasound bath).

To clean our items of silver jewellery, you can use standard commercial silver
dipping baths or silver cleaning cloths. No silver cutlery dipping baths and no
gold jewellery dipping baths must be used.

To clean our items of gold vermeil  jewellery (also in combination with silver
clasps) you can use standard commercial gold dipping baths or gold cleaning
cloths. No silver cutlery dipping baths must be used. Gently rub the cloth
across the article until the surface is restored to its rose or yellow gold colour.

Immerse the jewellery inaccordance with the instructions for your dipping bath
and for a maximum of 5 minutes. Then thoroughly rinse the jewellery with warm
water, rub it dry and blow-dry it if possible.

The following materials are not suitable for cleaning in silver dipping baths:

– freshwater pearl
– mother-of-pearl
– obsidian
– rubber
– simulated turquoise
Silk ribbons and pieces of jewellery with leather must not be cleaned in silver
dipping baths or by ultrasound.

Care instructions Charm watch.

Your exclusive THOMAS SABO Charm watch is made from top-quality
925 Sterling Silver. To ensure you enjoy your precious and beautiful
THOMAS SABO Charm watch for as long as possible, you should adhere
to the following rules:

– Avoid wearing your Charm watch during sports and while working in the
house or garden.

– Cosmetics can spoil the sheen of the watch and reduce its brilliance.
For this reason, we recommend not wearing the watch while applying
perfume, hairspray and cosmetics.

– When you are not wearing your Charm watch, keep it in a dry place – in
the closed THOMAS SABO watch packaging or wrapped in a soft cloth
to protect it.

To avoid natural tarnishing and to remove light dirt, we recommend regularly
using our silver cloth (available at THOMAS SABO Shops). Gentle rubbing is
all that is required – and your silver watch will sparkle as new.

Your THOMAS SABO Charm watch is
1 ATM water-proof and is hence resistant
to water splashes.

The Charm watch is not suitable for bathing, showering, swimming or diving.
Due to the fact that the watch is only splash-resistant, silver dipping baths,
ultrasound devices or other cleaning baths must not be used.
